DIY Paper Mache Belly Cast

At the end of pregnancy many women decide to make a cast of their beautiful bellies to have as a keepsake after pregnancy. Almost every belly casting I've ever seen has been made of plaster and there are many brands that make kits but they all look the same. I wanted something different, plus I am too inpatient to get a kit of my own. I decided to try out a paper Mache cast of my bump. A belly cast without plaster? This was so easy and fun to do! *Plus super cheap! I used basic craft paste (lots of recipes online) and strips of tissue paper. If you don't mind getting a little sticky and love arts and crafts give this a try! Have fun thinking outside the box!  Directions:  1.Wrap your belly (and boobies if you so choose)  gently with saran wrap.  *You could do this with a shirt on or off since the paste will wash right off. DIY Closet Baby Nursery

Hey all! Looking online for baby nursery inspiration pointed me in the direction of small space storage solutions. I've found a common theme- babies don't require much space let alone a whole bedroom! Using a small space like a walk in closet makes the perfect smart solution for maximizing your homes space! My husband and I live in a small home in northern California with a master bed/bath and- you guessed it, a walk in closet! We've decided to make a little space work for our little one. Work with what you have and have fun doing it! Babies really don't need much space and will love anything cozy! Have fun- be creative, and think outside the box!  Here's some space solving /decorating Ideas to help point you in the right direction: 1. Hanging fabric shelves for clothes and 'shoes'. I LOVE scrapbooking, but you can't fit all those bigger items you wish to preserve/showcase. This solves that problem while looking super cute in babies nursery or wherever! I saw this online and had to recreate as soon as my newborn son was home. Enjoy!
